Abstract
This set of four resource briefs provides educators with essential knowledge for navigating the emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) landscape. These resources are designed to support instructional integrity and guide educators and their students to become informed, critical, and responsible users of AI in their learning environments. The briefs address four critical pillars of AI implementation. AI Literacy Basics defines the core knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed for educators to critically evaluate AI systems and understand how they work. Creating Responsible AI Use Guidance offers a practical roadmap for developing human-centered policies and clear expectations for ethical use and transparency. Effective Classroom Practices with AI illustrates practical, instructional applications where Generative AI can amplify teaching, support the student writing process, and promote critical thinking and questioning skills. Finally, Misconceptions About AI addresses common myths to empower educators toward informed, confident action in the classroom. This collection helps bridge the gap between AI technology and responsible instructional practice.
